LGBTQ+ Aftercare & Ongoing Recovery Support in Los Angeles, CA

After completing our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Rainbow Hill Recovery, aftercare plays a crucial role in maintaining long-term sobriety and overall well-being. Aftercare is a personalized, ongoing support plan designed to help individuals transition smoothly from structured treatment to independent living. It provides the continued guidance, accountability, and resources needed to navigate challenges and reinforce the skills learned during treatment.

Aftercare at Rainbow Hill Recovery

Our aftercare services may include regular check-ins with therapists or counselors, participation in support groups, ongoing individual therapy, and access to resources such as relapse prevention education, job assistance, and sober living environments. We also encourage involvement in community-based recovery meetings, like our *Rainbow Connect* group, to foster a sense of belonging and connection.

The goal of aftercare is to help individuals build upon the foundation they’ve established in treatment, develop healthy routines, and maintain a strong support system, reducing the risk of relapse and promoting lasting recovery.

Your Journey to Lasting Recovery At Rainbow Hill Recovery, we understand that recovery doesn’t end when you complete our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). In fact, it’s just the beginning of a new chapter in your life. That’s where our comprehensive aftercare services come in. Aftercare is a crucial component of long-term sobriety, designed to provide ongoing support, resources, and a sense of community as you transition from structured treatment to independent living.

Why Aftercare is Important Recovery is a lifelong process, and aftercare ensures that you continue to build on the foundation you’ve established during treatment. It offers a safety net, helping you navigate life’s challenges with the confidence and tools necessary to maintain sobriety. Studies show that individuals who engage in aftercare programs are more likely to sustain long-term recovery. This is why at Rainbow Hill Recovery, we tailor our aftercare plans to meet your specific needs, offering regular check-ins, ongoing therapy, and access to resources that support your sobriety journey.

Rainbow Hill Sober Living

Your Next Step in Recovery One key aspect of aftercare at Rainbow Hill Recovery is the option to continue your journey at Rainbow Hill Sober Living. While not directly attached to our IOP, Rainbow Hill Sober Living provides a supportive and structured environment specifically for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Here, individuals can live with others who share similar experiences, building a sense of belonging and accountability in a sober, affirming space.

Founded in 2021 by our Co-Founders Joey Bachrach and Andrew Fox, Rainbow Hill Sober Living was born out of their personal experiences in recovery and their passion for helping others. Joey and Andrew, both in recovery themselves, realized the importance of safe, inclusive spaces for queer individuals to heal and thrive. Rainbow Hill Sober Living was created to meet the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community, offering a sober living home where anyone who identifies as part of the queer community can find acceptance, support, and structure.
